In this spooky show, our improvisers will take inspiration from the tales of real-life Hudson Valley hauntings! Featuring local paranormal investigators Thomm Quackenbush, Elise Maurine Milner, and Christopher Berlino. $12 online, $15 at the door!

Stacey Venzel leads our drop-in workshops where students of all levels can dive into the craft of improv. Students will learn how to focus and heighten their scenes with just a few simple techniques. Limit 12 students. For ages 18+.

Starting with "Yes-and," students will then explore object work and environment, basic scene editing, and how to use a suggestion to start a scene. Focus will be placed on playing with emotion, character, and relationship. Students will be introduced to the simple longform structure, The Montage.

In Advanced Improv students will focus on longform structure “The Spokane.” Starting from a central scene, improvisers use tag-outs to explore tangential scenes and build out the world beyond. Get it? It’s like spokes coming out from a central hub. Prerequisite: At least two levels of improv at any theater or commensurate experience.
